This is a brief overview of the Tribe Syndication Association (TSA).

So you have your new blog up and running and you want to get traffic to your site…

Behold the TSA!!!!! :)

Share other peoples content, meet new friends, meet new business partners, learn from other like minded people, get access to marketing training videos and most of all….. get your content out to more people. This means more traffic, more leads, better SEO, better page ranking and better Alexa ranking. Everyone’s a winner!

And its completely FREE!!!

Check out this video for my brief overview of the Tribe Syndication Association!

What I forgot to mention in this video is the fact that you can syndicate more than just the people within your specific group. You can syndicate anyone in the whole of the TSA spreadsheet.

And, once you have done your count of syndication points, you will need to go back to the spreadsheet to update the weekly counter points for yourself.

Please feel free to comment below if you have any questions, tips or if you want to clarify a specific step or link of the TSA.

What is affiliate marketing?

Basically it is where someone is promoting another companies products or services. Then the ‘affiliate’ gets a nice little commission out of his/hers efforts of marketing. Everyone is happy!

Affiliate marketing is a good way to get other people to sell products for you, if you are willing to give them a certain percentage of the sale. It is a great way to get other people to do the leg work for you. So instead of the customer purchasing the product from the merchant or retailer, they are purchasing through an affiliate.

Check out these two amazing sites for all of you keen Affiliate Marketers! :)

The marketer/affiliate gets paid a commission on referrals or sales from the promoted company. It can be in any subject from renewable energy to lottery, from eBooks to forex trading. The retailer offers help to its marketers by either offering banners to put on their website, suggested sales letters or the marketer even gets their own replicated website to attract prospects. But it is up to the affiliate marketer to work hard for their commissions, which is easy when you know how to market products online.

As an affiliate marketer, this is a great way to produce ‘multiple streams of income’ in many niche markets.

Here are my favourite affiliate programs at the moment;

or Hosting from Hostgator Join for Free
Email marketing from GetResponse Join for Free
Huge listbuilder with Listjoe Join for Free
Needs no introduction Amazon Join for Free
The genius Mike Dillard and the Magnetic Sponsoring team Only need to purchase the ebook

Anyone can do it!

But…. is that good or bad?

Anyone can do it! What qualifies marketers to become an affiliate? A large amount of companies who offer an opportunity for affiliate marketing, do so without the affiliate purchasing the product that they are promoting. Which is great for the merchant company but not so good for the customer or affiliates reputation.

I only say this out of experience.

I purchased an eBook on the internet which turned out to be (to put it politely) not very good.

My advice to you?

Affiliate marketing is good. I earn nice little commissions on some of the products that I promote. But I only promote them because I have purchased them, I use them and I recommend them. If you are purchasing a product by a replicated site then please do your research on the person promoting this product. Ask for testimonials or photos. Find out if this person has an interest in the product that is being sold, or are they just trying to sell whatever they can get a commission from.

If the customer, affiliate and merchant are happy then everyone is happy!

A Worpress Blog, in my eyes, is the ONLY way to blog! Why? Because if you want a higher ranking profesional blog where you own the domain and hosting then WordPress is the way to go! :)

1 Step #1 Registar A Domain

I use Go Daddy to registar my domains. They manage more than 36 million domains! Currently the best in the game! By far!

Some domain name tips!

Keep it simple, easy for people to remember, try using strong keywords for better SEO, personally I prefer to get .com as this is what your browser assumes, but if your business is just catering for your own country then .com is not so important. Job done!

2Step# 2 Its time for your hosting

Ok then, next job is to get your hosting. For this I am highly recommending HostGator, a leading provider of web hosting. Very reliable and awesome customer support! And it also has a clever feature called Fantastico, which will get you started before you know it. Good stuff!

If you only want to host one domain, then you only need to start with the hatchlet. If you want more, then you should go for a baby croc.

Click here to start using Host Gator!

3Step #3 linking your domain to your host

Now then, we have a domain name and a hosting account.

We should have an email from Hostgator with this information ‘Your name servers: ns1234.hostgator.com and ns5678.hostgator.com’ (or something like that)

Now go back to your Godaddy acount. Click on Domains then My Domains then click on the chosen domain name. Scroll down to nameservers and click on Manage. All you need to do then is go down to ‘I host my domains with another provider’ and simply use our old friend Copy and Paste to put the new nameservers from the email into the first two nameservers on Godaddy, click OK. That is that bit sorted!

4.Step #4 Only a couple clicks to go!

Not long to wait now. All you need to do is go back to Hostgator and scroll down to the smilling face of Fantastico. This will take you to another page, click on WordPress then New Installation. Where it says ‘Installation location’ we want it to be on yourdomain.com. Leave the ‘Install in directory’ blank. You then need a username and password, nickname, a valid email that will let you know when someone writes a comment on your blog posts, site name and description (all of this can be changed later, lets just get it going for now). Then click on INSTALL WORDPRESS!!!

Well done! You now own a blog! This may take a while to be live, but in a few minutes you should have your domain linked to the basic wordpress theme. To start playing around with themes, posts, widgets and plugins just go to you admin back office which you can find at http:// your domain name .com/wp-admin and that is it. Stay tuned for advice on building your blog. But if you have any questions in the meantime then please feel free to contact me or comment below.

Happy Blogging!
