Branching Out!

The seed has been planted. The beginning of an enormous network of branches, a symbol of solidity and unity with a common goal.

Start with yourself as the core, the trunk, curled inside the seed waiting for guidance, to know how to move forward. What does the trunk inside the seed need to grow? ROOTS!

The seed needs to root itself in the most nutritious soil in order to give birth to new life that will produce determined, healthy trunks and branches that will eventually create one tree united in vigour and intention.

With Network Marketing, the origin of the roots is vital. The right mentors (roots) or business opportunity are the nutrients that will give the seed the guidance and determination to move forward, showing the way and helping to root the seed securely so it can support the many branches it will inevitably grow.

As the first trunk becomes strong enough to support itself and stand tall, all the elements it needs to prosper come together (teamwork), light, water and nutrients. Without the teamwork of all these fundamentals, growth will be stunted. Constant nurturing is needed in order for the tree to blossom and flourish, allowing the fruits of it’s labour to be enjoyed by all.

During the growth of this tree, new branches will be made. These active members will, in turn grow into strong stable trunks, going onto create branches of their own. The branches will become so strong, with the constant supply of teamwork (elements) they will appear independent yet still remain interdependent. As the tree continues to grow larger, the network will expand growing and moving further away from its origin but always staying connected.

A network of people will work in the same way, working together to prosper and grow, always heading toward a common goal, it will thrive alone but remain together- independent but interdependent by the power of duplication.

Hi Aidan,

comparing a Network Marketing business to a seed eventually growing into a tree is the prefect comparison, you see, most people have the potential to grow into a massive massive tree but the area they fail to do well in is watering the damn thing

this very nice

Wow, Aidan, what a perfect way to look at the process of becoming a network marketer and a network marketing team. Establishing strong roots in the proper soil is definitely the only way to grow strong tree that’s full of equally strong and healthy branches. Thanks for this great perspective!

Great analogy Aidan,
Giving birth to a tree and watching it grow as you see your business spread its’ roots and grow upward and outward is awesome!

Hi Aidan,

I love how you describe this and it really captures the spirit of our industry! What we do is so alive and ever-shifting and changing. That’s what makes it so hard and so rewarding!

I also love the relationships that are built along the way and the support that we are able to give to others to achieve their dreams. Aidan, thank you for helping me to see this so clearly!

Hey Aidan!

What a cool way to describe network marketing. A very visual way for anyone to get the gist of it. Sometimes sponsors just can’t quite explain it in a way that their people can grasp it and run with it. You’ve done a splendid job at it. I commend you sir!

Cheers,
Mike

Yes, Great Analogy Aidan!

This reminds me of when we first bought our vacant lot and planted over 300 trees. With young trees, it’s important that you don’t “over nurture” them, otherwise you will actually stunt their growth. The same would apply to your team so it requires a balance.

Great Stuff! Thanks, Laura

I actually have never thought of my business in this way. I’ve thought of a lot of other things to compare it to, but never a tree.

I think I like it… !

Thanks for sharing this Aidan :)

Hey Aidan :-)

Great post. It is incredibly important to know the origins. It reminds me of that one quote, “A hundred people are hacking at the branches of evil with only one hacking at the root.”

The root is what grows everything. :-)

Michael beat me to it, but yes, that was a great analogy Aidan.

All businesses need a strong foundation (roots) to succeed.

Thanks for the excellent post.

Great analogy Aidan. You could also use the seeds that are independent but look like the original as distributors develop their own businesses.

Thanks,

Michael

YES! Aidan, comparing a Network Marketing business to a seed eventually growing into a tree is the prefect comparison, you see, most people have the potential to grow into a massive massive tree but the area they fail to do well in is watering the damn thing. Or as I would relate it to business, failing to read and learn from personal development books and videos. Those are your source of nutrients to grow into a fertile and strong force to be reckoned with in the market place.

Rock on dude
